  • Billy Joel

The show started almost 1/2 hour late, but Billy Joel did not disappoint. The concert went over 2 hours playing to a packed house. Between 20-25 original BJ tunes were performed with a few others we all know and love to sing along with. His daughter Alexa Rae joined him on stage for “Baby Grand” which was nice to see. Each song highlighted the various band members and they were introduced accordingly; all are great musicians and vocalists. We all sang along to Piano Man, his last song of the night. After chanting for an encore, the band came back and played an additional 3 songs capping it off with Billy Joel placing a turkey hat upon his head while belting out “You may be right, I may be crazy...” interjecting a small part of Led Zepplin’s Rock n Roll into the song.

Billy ‘s mantra after many of his tunes: And then we got divorced. Lol.

  • My Dear Mr. Joel,

Thank you for the wonderful performance! Your music means so much to me and has been for decades. I feel blessed and thankful for being able to see you. This concert was one for my life and the first time. It’s been one of my life goals to attend your concerts in Madison Square Garden but this is the first opportunity to see you. And I wasn’t about to miss you.

  • The atmosphere was electric from the start. The man himself was just amazing. So much energy and humour coupled with a keen insight can't begin to describe the performance from this 70 year old gentleman.

His voice has aged and mellowed to a way that really enhances his songs.

He played a good variety of music spanning all of his long career. From his 80s classics to some of the lesser played, but brilliant deeper music from the late 70s.

When he played the his signature song, Piano Man, you could hear it all the way to Scotland. It was out of this world.

The band were simply brilliant. They are so talented that when one of his group stood up and sang 'Nessun Dorma', you could of heard a pin drop in Wembley Stadium. The resulting applause was like thunder that just rolled on and on.

A really fantastic night out that I will remember for the rest of my life.
