FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Arkansas basketball will welcome No. 8 Tennessee to Bud Walton Arena on Wednesday searching for its first winning streak in the SEC.

The Razorbacks (12-11, 3-7 SEC) host the Volunteers (17-6, 7-3) this evening coming off a narrow Saturday victory over Georgia. Arkansas built a pair of double-digit leads and held on at the end to knock off the Bulldogs, 78-75.

Tennessee has been terrific on both ends of the floor all season, but the Volunteers lost to Texas A&M 85-69 in their last game. Tennessee needs a victory Wednesday if it wants to stay within arms reach of South Carolina and Alabama atop the SEC standings.

This will be the only meeting between the schools during the regular season. Arkansas has back-to-back road games against Mississippi State and Texas A&M after this bout with the Volunteers.
