2020 Christmas TV Movie Binge Movie #19
I can’t believe this story based on characters from the novel 'His Country Cinderella' by Karen Rose Smith is a trilogy of movies, with two Christmas movies out of three. This movie made me realize I forgot that Jeanette’s first husband was dead, and I totally forgot that Zane had another brother Bart that was introduced in the second film. I don’t even remember that character. Brother Billy is a no show for this movie, and I’m glad they didn’t recast Greg Vaughan. Not gonna lie, missed seeing that beautiful face.

i was fully 40 minutes into this before it clicked for me: this is a sequel to a movie (or movies) i have never seen (nor will i ever see)
My Christmas wish is to Leatherface to show up and kill everybody in this movie. Never a movie made me so angry...

The whole point of these kinds of Christmas movies is that they fall in love. So what are you supposed to do when the movie starts with them already together? I don’t even think they know. This movie really does everything wrong and a little bit more. The plot is empty and boring while the music is bad and some of the lighting scenes are God awful. This type of film just cannot work with a plot that isn’t about a cheesy romance. Simple as that.
