"College GameDay" began the 2023 college football season with a state-line rivalry. It's next headed to cover a classic future SEC rivalry.

The Home Depot bus will be headed to Tuscaloosa, Ala., for the first time in 2023, with the No. 3 Crimson Tide hosting No. 11 Texas in a rematch of what was a closely contested battle in 2022.

Texas had a chance to win last year's match and fully put itself back in the national conversation. But early in the game, starting quarterback Quinn Ewers was injured and even backup Hudson Card had to work his way through an ankle injury. The Crimson Tide, led by eventual No. 1 overall pick Bryce Young, narrowly escaped with a 20-19 win.

Saturday's contest in Alabama should be another close matchup. The Texas offense has fewer question marks with Ewers and most of his receivers back, while Alabama is in Game 2 of the Jalen Milroe era after Young left for the NFL. Still, it's not easy to knock off Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide in Bryant-Denny Stadium.

Here's everything you need to know about "College GameDay" heading to Alabama for the second week of the season.
