This area is considered one of the best in CDMX, for living and for staying as tourists. It is the new old, has the character of both. I walked through its streets… yes, nice and clean, but what else! I stayed for 7 nights at Planco…. I like Polanco way better, more prestigious and closer to all the high-end restaurants and shopping centers, and of course the better hotels.
The only part of Condesa I was interested in was the section “The Park” where they filmed “Man on Fire” for Denzel Washington. I included some photos of that area.

The Parque Mexico is a great place to cool off and relax. There are several paths that goes through the park and it is much larger than it appears. It's in the tradition of a manicured park with lots of different plants and trees.

During the weekends, there are many vendors and in the covered corridors, there are many different dance lessons going on.

There is also an Audiorama, where soothing sounds and music is played with suspended chairs and areas for you to sit. The water feature seemed to have been turned off during our visit.

The BEST massage I’ve ever had! The staff were so caring and really listened to where I was hurting the most. I was surprised to be told to lay on my back first, usually you’re on your stomach but having your weight help with the gentle pressure with the massage was so relaxing and helped target areas you usually don’t feel when on your stomach. After you can have a tea in there waiting area and it was the perfect way to end my trip to Mexico City. Will definitely come back!

Beautiful little park that is tree-filled, full of people--fun to walk through. We visited the audiorama, which was a delight. Every city should have one of these!

We played Robo en el Museo at Enigma Rooms and LOVED it! We've done maybe two dozen escape rooms in the US, but were not expecting to have the best experience at Enigma Rooms due to our limited travel Spanish. We were so wrong. The room, set in a museum, had English and Spanish descriptions of all the art, and most of the written instructions were bilingual. The staff were super friendly and worked hard to communicate well with us. Not only was it a mostly bilingual experience, it was a fun escape room with several puzzles and clues that were new to us and super fun. It's got a couple of physical components so I wouldn't recommend wearing a dress. It was a pretty easy room, but I think for non-Spanish speaking tourists, or chilangos new to escape rooms, that's perfect. Highly recommend!

As the Italian TripAdvisor member mentioned: The house was put up for auction . The collection has been entrusted to Franz Meyer Museum near Bellas Artes that restored it and cataloged it . Part of the collection is currently on view at the exhibition " Máscaras mexicanas , simbolismos velados " inside the Palacio Nacional at least until March 31st, check before. 450 pieces!
Until July 2016, there is also an exposition on Art Clothing and Fashion in Mexico from the same Ruth Lechuga collection at the Palacio Nacional.
Just from what you see on the Web site its a astonishing collection.

Getting around by public transport is the best way to arrive to the auditorium. Thankfully there is a metro near hear. It is important to plan your arrival, theoretically you can do it depending on the time of the concert but, typically is always during the night, so if you live far away from Insurgentes, you should arrive at least, one hour before the concert starts. Another thing is that if you are far away from the sceneario, luckily there is a great acoustic and you can hear very well, even though if you are in the back.

As a fan of Escape Rooms attractions, I want to congratulate Escape Rooms Mexico for the new VAMPIROS attraction. Fully technological, has lots of new features (it rains inside a room!). An entry level room that is perfect for beginners.

My wife and I tried El Grifo on a recommendation from a colleague and we are glad we gave it a try. One of the best little spots for pizza in Mexico City we have tried. I had the Henri pizza and my wife had a Pepperoni pizza as well as a few of their craft beers from a very large selection. I would also recommend the papas al horno appetizer. This will definitely be a place we frequent often when we want pizza and a drink.

Fantastic museum experience. Unforgettable message about the holocaust and other inhumane conditions that humans have done and still doing today.

My family of six (including 4 children) had a great time on our tour! Our guide, Plaqueta, was so sweet with the children and they absolutely adored her. She was able to create a balance between what the kids would love and what would also interest adults. That was no easy feat! This is the second time I went on an Eat Like a Local tour-- both with Plaqueta. I can't recommend her more highly! I will be calling her up again the next time I go back to CDMX!
