‘Downton Abbey: A New Era’ is now streaming FREE – here’s how to watch!

The new Downton Abbey movie is available to watch for free from today!

Downton Abbey: A New Era sees our beloved characters from ITV’s hit period drama series embark on a lavish trip to the South of France in 1928 where they must uncover the mystery of the Dowager Countess’ newly inherited villa.

After some pandemic-related delays, the film finally came out earlier this year.

It was praised by reviewers as “very much the escape we all desperately need right now,” and “a triumph” for fans of the TV show.

A New Era dropped on DVD and Blu-ray over the summer, and had a (slightly extortionate) digital release shortly after its arrival in cinemas.

Fortunately, it’s now been added on Amazon Prime Video as of Friday 28th October, so Amazon Prime members in the US can watch it at no extra cost.

There’s no official confirmation of a third Downton Abbey movie yet, but the cast certainly seem keen to complete the trilogy.
