H.Vinoth strikes hot with his debut directorial, by delivering one of the best heist films in Tamil. The smart script with interesting characterizations get further powered by its fast paced suspenseful screenplay, sharp dialogues and the unexpected twists n turns. Natarajan is fantastic in the lead role and plays the role of a remorseless conman with utmost conviction. Don’t miss out.
Sadhuranga Vettai :-
It's great how it's went from "Money is Ultimate" to "Money isn't everything". A Well Crafted Heist film with Mastermind Ideas and ended with important message. A great debut from H. Vinoth.
Rating:- 8.5/10
Safe to say that Natarajan is the most slept on actor in kollywood. Every performance he gives is powerful and layered. Also i didn’t know he worked as a Cinematographer in Last Train to Mahakali, Paanch and Black Friday wtf
This film was very informative for me when it came out for i had no idea of Ponzi Schemes in 7th grade. What happened to good old H Vinoth
Continues to be one of the most terrific debuts in Tamizh cinema in the past decade. And, despite multiple rewatches, still is a frolicking ride with an in-form Natty.
Although, the emotional angle is still the film's only Achilles' heel (perhaps a repeating motif in Vinoth's films).

H.Vinoth's debut film is a fresh attempt. A con film with grey characters and a racy screenplay that fits the bill for a thriller. He points out how money is always the ultimate in this dog-eat-dog society. Nataraj played the character well and though the twists and turns worked well, it all were happening too fast. While playing with all the grey characters and backstabs for the entire film, Vinoth settles for a safe ending with a social message which became a template for him in his later works.
You could never convince me that this was the same guy who made Valimai.
Watched the movie because I wanted to see how H. Vinoth had made his first film...
The first half and the second half goes and goes, I started to like the film during the climax and the end! After the intermission I was honestly a bit bored and the pregnant wife scenes were the scenes which I liked, they were so frightening!
I like the fact that the director made Natty play the lead role rather than any other famous actor, who also acted well too...
