Space Force is an American comedy series created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carell. The series premiered on Netflix on May 29, 2020.
On November 13, 2020 it was announced that the series was renewed for a second season.[1] Production is slated to begin in Vancouver in 2021.[1]
Synopsis[]
Space Force follows a decorated pilot with dreams of running the Air Force, four-star general Mark R. Naird is thrown for a loop when he finds himself tapped to lead the newly formed sixth branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force. Skeptical but dedicated, Mark uproots his family and moves to a remote base in Colorado where he and a colorful team of scientists and “Spacemen” are tasked by the White House with getting American boots on the moon (again) in a hurry and achieving total space dominance.

On January 16, 2019, it was announced that Netflix had given the production a straight-to-series order.
The series was co-created by Greg Daniels and Steve Carell and will be executive produced by Daniels, Carell, and Howard Klein through 3 Arts Entertainment.
