I was very impressed with the owners and all of their employees. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The standard queen with kitchen that we got was cozy, but was well appointed and decorated very nicely. With respect to drawers and a closet for clothing, there was plenty of storage for 2 people who overpacked for a 5 night stay. The decor was very much to my liking. I have no idea how the style would be described, but they took a cozy bedroom, a very small kitchen, and an average sized bathroom and made it feel like you were actually staying in a nook of a large home... it didn't feel like any hotel that I've been to. Whoever designed the decor for this place deserves big kudos; very talented IMHO. As far as cleanliness, the place was spotless. The bed was very comfortable; it was firm, like we like, but also seemed to have a nice pillowtop to it. The location was quiet, and though we occassionally heard a neighboring room's TV or screaming kid, it was quite muted....not enough to really bother me, and I am quite sensitive to noise. We got a sound night's sleep every night. I don't think one could pick a better location for a hotel. Off the main drag, but close enough to walk and bike to it. And speaking of bikes, they had complimentary 3 speed bicycles included with the rental. They also supplied sanitized helmets and locks if you wanted to borrow one. Besides bikes, they provided beach umbrellas, beach chairs, and beach towels... they also had great recommendations for beaches. The kitchen had a small two seater table, and had a q small under the counter refrigerator freezer (about 3 - 3.5 cubic feet); but it was enough to keep our yogurts, cheese, a gallon of water, and some other drinks cold. It was fine for using as quick breakfast place, or to prepare some snacks, but too small to really want to hang out there for a nice dinner or anything. The kitchen was definitely the weakest spot out of the rental, but it worked out fine for us.…
