Here I go ..

Second day started right in the morning with the weather gods extremely happy being Sunday, excellent weather, temperature ideal and all day slight breeze making our long walks very enjoyable. Overall some 24000 steps logged in .

Started the day slightly relaxed since previous day was pretty long considering that landed after a long flight and then covering 3 attractions on day 1.

So day 2 began with the famous sandwiches from the convenience store and some coffee. Then off to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden . Shiodome to kokuritsu-kyogijo Station on the Oedo line. Very comfortable this was ,although there were many other

options .

This was a lovely garden . The roses were in full bloom. Beautiful garden . After spending some quality time , moved on to Meiju Jingu .. enjoyed walking since weather was very pleasant. Meiju Jingu was really worth it, there is some spiritual aura around the place. Could witness multiple weddings. Maybe some auspicious day.... Definitely would request the tourists to honour local customs, traditions and follow the rules in totality. Too many of them trying to record videos or

pictures despite the temple personnel carrying a placard not to do so. As well as to remain silent in the main sanctorium. So we as tourist need to Definitely be more Mindful,respect and honour the local customs/traditions wholly.

From there walked to yoyogi Park. Was very lively. Being Sunday the park was buzzing with people of all ages having real fun. Sometimes we might say too crowded but one needs to enjoy everything. Was nice to see dog park.. separate area for small and big breeds having a wonderful time . This was refreshing to see them in natural surroundings compared to a pet cafe .

Had some delicious sushi, tuna rice roll with seaweed.. Japanese food is a must do DAILY ATTRACTION. rain or shine .. ha ha ha.

From there walked to Shibuya scramble crossing .,then to Hachiko memorial... then off to the hotel .. Hotel offers happy hours from 5 pm to 7 pm with drinks and some light snacks... which is a pleasant surprise.

So there goes the 2nd day. Tomorrow will be a lazy day . Need to recoup , recover from last 2, 3 days hectic and enjoyable schedule
