Acclaimed actor and director Michael B. Jordan channels his inner Wesley Snipes while shooting his latest movie. The Black Panther franchise star mirrors Blade as he films his upcoming vampire movie.

Per Hailee Steinfeld Source on X, on-set photos from the untitled film show Jordan sporting a haircut and goatee reminiscent of Snipes' badass character. The visuals also show the vintage settings used for the period piece, which is set in the Jim Crow-era South and plays up Southern supernatural traditions.

Sam Wilson is rebuilding the Avengers in Captain America: Brave New World. Which heroes should comprise the MCU's new Avengers team?

Principal photography on the untitled film began in New Orleans earlier this month, with Black Panther film series helmer Ryan Coogler behind the director's chair. The upcoming movie landed at Warner Bros. this past January following a bidding war with Universal Pictures and other studios, with studio executives believing the film has franchise potential. Coogler and Jordan have proved themselves as a winning combination in the past, working together on Fruitvale Station, Black Panther and the Creed franchise.

Details about Jordan and Coogler's secret vampire movie remain scarce. However, Jordan will reportedly play the vampire in the film, though there is speculation he will occupy multiple roles. The feature-length project recently buffered its cast with the addition of Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse star Hailee Steinfeld, The Batman actor Jamie Lawson and Loki's Wunmi Mosaku. Delroy Lindo and Jack O'Connell have also been confirmed to appear in the Warner Bros. flick.
