- Margarida CBarcelona, Spain12 contributionsGreat visit you can see a ruin castle saved!! The works of reconstruction were very well done and you can have a full idea about the life insideWritten August 11, 2019This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - permiaIreland61,404 contributionsIt’s an inspiring vision and particularly seeing it for the first time early morning and with suffusing clear blue-sky light enhancing throughout.
Sublime stone craft on the facades is a beautiful prelude to stepping inside. Standing at the rear and gazing along the light filled nave bordered by graceful soaring slender columns was a memorable experience.
Natural light through gorgeous stained glass and filling the holy space was a special sight. Decorative beauty is everywhere. Statuary is plentiful and portrays holy images, supplemented by religious paintings.Written October 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Around it, more that i can imagine, we found many differents landscapes wich allows us to travel. Nearby towns such as Aix-les-bains or Chambéry give us access to a wide panorama of what civilisation have to offer. But the most importante thing in this place is the lake because we fond many thing to do, like the most evident is beach to swim, like boats to navigate and discover the view oh the lake with these montains. At the foot of the « Dent-du-chat » montain, offer the possibility of coves and beaches only accessible by boat. There's also a boardwalk on the eastern side of the lake, where you can stroll for several kilometers in the midst of nature, with blue water on one side and flora on the other.
This is a very good lake i have see. So i recommand this.Written October 18, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. I first became aware of her when I learned that Anne Boleyn was sent to her court at Mechelen in Belgium to be trained in court etiquette. Margaret’s story is explained via AV presentation during the visit to her apartments. You can feel her presence throughout the monastery which she planned as a monument to commemorate her beloved (third) husband. It is extraordinarily beautiful to visit and takes about 3 hours, with something interesting to see at every turn. We would have liked there to be a cafe as, being oldies, we ran out of energy to really enjoy the well stocked art gallery. A sit down with refreshments would have helped us to continue. Other than this I can only recommend it as a marvellous visit.Written August 10, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Jamie MWinchester, UK40 contributionsBeautiful caves with unique rock formations inside. Wonderfully cool inside (circa 14 Celsius) and tour is well paced to allow for taking it all in and photographs. Really very fascinating.Written July 12, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Margriet ZAllex, France1 contributionGo here and visit this small but beautiful Grotte. Ideal with small childeren because you are not in a group and can walk on your own with a lamp.
I didn’t want to go in because I am very claustrophobic but the very nice man at the ticket office promised me that I would love it.
So I did, and he was right.

- AJ16 contributionsThe Lake Pravin is absolutely stunning. The walk around it took an hour for people of relatively good fitness however it may take longer depending on how much you stop and how fit you are. One of the most incredible features of the lake is the colour, a turquoise blue. Swimming isn’t permitted in the Lake however dipping your feet in from the side is fine. There is a restaurant overlooking the lake, we didn’t go there but it looked relatively full. The Lake Pravin definitely deserves a rating of 5 stars.Written July 31, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - LLK2012Encinitas, CA55 contributionsWe made the journey to the Musee Lumiere as an excuse to go further afield during our third visit to Lyon. So glad we did! It's an easy trip on the metro, and the exit lets you out right across the street.
If you saw the movie "Paris Can Wait", the Lumiere is where Jacques took Diane and let her wander around the exhibit while he "met" with his friend who worked there. ;^)
Set in the Lumiere famiy home, you wander freely from one room to the next, seeing the history of cinema, film-making, the advancements in photography which they started, as well as their contributions to medicine and the injured during WWII.
Truly amazing and inspiring. A lovely afternoon, and walking back to the metro we stopped to watch a game of boules being played in the park across the street.Written May 7, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - jpfingMaitland, FL49 contributionsGet to this destination early if you hope to get a parking space close by in the height of summer . We are older so it took us two tries before we got there early enough to find a convenient parking spot. It is quite a serious hike up to the top to watch the paragliders but so worth it.
Having a nice lunch at one of the two nice restaurants at the base of the hill is the perfect rewards for your efforts.Written August 26, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Alan and HilaryFuengirola, Spain68 contributionsThis is an unusual building in that it is built using lava and that is why it is very dark, almost black. The inside is dark also but with wonderful stained glass windows. It is free to enter.Written August 24, 2022This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC.
