New Delhi, 09 May 2024: Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest passenger vehicle manufacturer, has introduced the Epic New Swift, a game-changer in the hatchback segment featuring the advanced Z-Series engine. This all-new 1.2L powertrain combines cutting-edge innovation with environmental responsibility, delivering a fuel efficiency of up to 25.75 km/l—a remarkable 14% improvement over the previous Swift generation.
The Epic New Swift’s 1197cc Z-Series engine generates 80 HP of power and 111.7 Nm of torque, offering robust performance while reducing emissions by up to 12%. Additionally, the vehicle incorporates a hydraulic clutch for seamless gear transitions and an optional Auto Gear Shift (AGS) transmission for those desiring automatic comfort.
Safety remains paramount, with the Epic New Swift offering six airbags, Electronic Stability Program+ (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, and Brake Assist, ensuring comprehensive protection. A 22.86cm SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, wireless charging, ARKAMYS surround sound, and advanced connectivity further enhance the driving experience.
