Brian Lowry Variety There's a nagging sense that "The Following" would have worked best had Hardy played his cat-and-mouse game with Hannibal Lecter-like mastermind Joe Carroll for a single season and been done with it. Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Kyle Anderson Entertainment Weekly The series quickly settles back into its odious pattern: Grisly murders are committed, Hardy broods, and the always outsmarted FBI looks like it'd have trouble handling security at a Tony Bennett concert. Rated: C- Mar 16, 2015 Full Review Karen Rought Hypable It has everything we loved about the first two seasons and more. Blood! Pain and heartache! Kevin Bacon on the dance floor! Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Matt Fowler IGN Movies At this point, your own personal investment in Ryan as a character is (probably) what's going to have to carry you through this season. The wheel has not been reinvented here. Rated: 6.8/10 Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Dan Hajducky Den of Geek This show may always have its glaring, illogical holes that make me squirm, but what The Following does, at its best, is make it one enjoyable ride. Rated: 3/5 Feb 28, 2019 Full Review Mark Trammell TV Equals This was a decent enough premiere. The crime scenes were duly creepy. Mar 3, 2015 Full Review Read all reviews

charles r Truly a disaster. So typical of American series compared to those from the UK. Try Happy Valley or Unforgotten. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 03/31/23 Full Review Audience Member wasn't perfect but I dig Kevin bacon. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member I thought this show was amazing. It always kept me on my feet. And I loved how intense every moment was. I was sad that it was only 3 seasons, and the season finale went out with a bang. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member A reckoning comes for Ryan Hardy and his team in the third and final season of The Following. Seeking revenge for the deaths of his mother and twin brother, serial killer Mark Gray puts together a team to stage a number of murders designed to expose Hardy and Weston as rogue FBI agents and force them to confess to their crimes; but unknown to Mark, he has a mysterious benefactor who's using him for his own means. As usual some of the subplots are a little convoluted, but the writers do a good job at building suspense and delivering shocking cliff hangers. Also, recurring guest stars Ruth Kearney and Michael Ealy give impressive performances, creating compelling new villains. At times it's a bit stale and repetitive, but overall Season 3 of The Following is gritty and intense, and provides some closure to the series. Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Should have stopped after season 2 so disappointing Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Audience Member Sorry to see this go Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/09/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
