Game 1 – UWSP 4, UWP 1
Klicker led off the bottom of the first with a solo home run to put the Pointers in front. It was her third home run in four at-bats since game two on Saturday began.

After the Pioneers tied the game at 1-1 in the top of the fourth, it didn't stay tied for long. Meyers hit the first pitch of the bottom of the fourth over the left-field fence for her first career round-tripper. Heckendorf followed up with a single. She moved to second on a sac bunt and scored on a pinch-hit double by Sawyer Holberg (Wisconsin Rapids, Wis./Lincoln) for a 3-1 lead.

With two away in the fifth, Baker belted a first-pitch home run to left to push the advantage to 4-1.

Harwood went 4.0 to earn her ninth win of the year. She struck out four. Zygowski notched her 10th save of the season with 3.0 innings of one-hit action. She struck out three.

Sara Traxel (Oak Creek, Wis./Oak Creek) drew a walk to put runners at the corners. Baker grounded out but drove in the tying run. Meyers then reached on an error as another run came home.
