Using Stremio I rarely pay attention to the origin of the stuff I'm streaming.
I operate on the assumption that Real Debrid already do all the security job for me.
Should I avoid using sources that are from Pirate Bay?
Streaming torrents from TPB through Stremio is safe. In general, you don't need to worry about viruses from media files. The main exception would be if you downloaded what was supposed to be a media file and it was actually an exe or some sort of compressed file. But since Stremio would not be able to do anything with an incorrect file type in the first place, there is practically zero risk.
The Pirate Bay is not trusted.

Movies and stuff you can easily scan for viruses but large games or in general games would recommend Fitgirl repacks
