Somewhat walkable
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Check in was completed by Luis at the Front Desk. He was very hospitable and welcoming to us. We were able to check in a little earlier than the 4 o’clock check in time. He recognized our Titanium status with Marriott Bonvoy and even wished us a Happy Valentine’s Day. He gave us a room location (T512) he explained would have an excellent view of the fireworks at Disney. The fireworks display was incredible starting at 9 PM. We watched two displays from our bedroom.
He explained the housekeeping standard of a refresh after 2 days of our 5 day stay and mentioned that breakfast starts at 7 AM. We were disappointed in the 7 AM breakfast time as we needed to leave the hotel at 7 AM. We drove to the closest Publix and purchased all necessary ingredients to cook breakfast in our guest room.
I asked if there was a Jacuzzi and he explained that they did not. He let us know there was a grill outside that we could cook on and a fire pit if we just wanted to sit outdoors by the pool. He did well to explain the $15 per night parking charge. Luis should be commended by management for his excellent hospitality.
Our guest room (519) was very nice and spotless clean. The bathroom sink was a bit small but worked fine. The stand up shower was appreciated and the water pressure strong. The bath amenities are the bulk style in the shower. Two mini soap bars and a small container of hand lotion and conditioner were also provided at the hand sink. Wifi worked great and was easy to connect to. The bed was very comfortable and the linens clean.
Coffee packets were provided and we asked for additional coffee to supplement what we had.
This hotel is in an excellent location near to numerous restaurants and shopping less than 10 minutes from the hotel. The pool is incredible and kids will love it, note, there is no hot tub however. There is an excellent fitness exercise room. Parents should also be aware of the excellent game room.
Special kudo’s to the Front Desk who was very friendly whenever approached. They all were very hospitable. Jonathan at night audit was very hospitable as well as Luis who checked us in. Management should commend them for their excellent hospitality.
Bottom line we enjoyed our stay - only disappointment is that we needed to leave a 7 AM and totally missed breakfast.

First, I wanted to recognize Joanna who checked us in. My wife and I were exhausted from a very early trip to Orlando and while I was not expecting my room to be ready before the prescribed check-in time, Joanna did everything possible to assure we got to our room ASAP.
We were moved from a 1 bedroom suite to a 2 bedroom suite. This was a huge bonus as my daughter was going to be staying with us as well.
We found the room to be very clean, spacious and well appointed. Understanding new COVID-19 protocols, we were not expecting daily housekeeping but fresh towels were always available.
The beds, linens and pillows very comfortable and of very good quality.
This property was centrally located to the Disney Parks, dozens of restaurants, golf and shopping.
The pool area is awesome despite being very crowded with teenaged girls in town for a cheer competition. They were a bit loud but extremely well behaved and having a lot of fun on their down time.
The breakfast buffet was sufficient and offered a good selection of food from eggs, meats, fresh fruits, cereal and yogurt.

I met a beautiful young lady her name is Mikael what a wonderful spirit she has she was very helpful with my reservation and she is very knowledgeable of the marriott brand. She had a smile on her face every time we seen her. I wish I could bring her to every marriott property I visit. I also had a great encounter with Vaughn front desk supervisor what a wonderful spirit and was able to help me out also I am a travel agent and everywhere I go I always look for great customer service and the cleanliness of the room. The room attendants were also nice and anytime we needed something they were also attentive to are needs. The room was very clean. I am so happy that I chosse this property for spring break and the food was great also the lines moved very fast and there was always someone cleaning the area were people were eating. Once again being a travel agent i have been to a lot of properties in Orlando and by fair this has been one of my best go check them out you will not be disappointed. I give Mikael and Vaugh a 10 and the rest of the staff a 10 also. I wish I could of gotten everyone name

Check in was great, with Yamilka's help I was able to secure a wheelchair for my daughter for the weekend and check into a room that was accessible for her to use. The draw back of the room was the mini fridge as it was not maintained well. The itty bitty freezer had a lot of frost on it subsequently when putting a ice pack in the freezer to freeze it got stuck in the freezer and had to be taken out of the room to repair to get the ice pack out, The fridge was retuned to the room BUT I had to throw away the ice pack as it was ripped in the process of unfreezing the frost. I encountered the housekeeping staff as I needed an extra towel. I was immediately told they don't speak English. With my limited Spanish I had to figure out how to tell them what I needed. I really wish they would get staff that spoke basic words for the job they do i.e towel, soap, cup or what ever so that everyone can understand one another. This is second time I've run into an issue. The food leaves a lot to be desired as in the breakfast and I hope that changes real soon. My event provided dinner for Friday and Saturday. The food on Friday was FNTASIC! The food on Saturday must have had a different cook as the chicken was overcooked and super dry, corn was stone cold, the breadsticks were hard as rocks! On checkout the young lady who wore no nametag allowed me to keep the room key so I was able to pack up my car after the event. The side door is kept locked and when trying to pack up it makes packing your vehicle difficult while hoping that someone else is going to come out to pack their vehicle. Having worked in the hospitality industry for over 23 years I expect a certain level of cleanliness in all areas. The common areas were very clean, while the bathrooms needed more attention than they received. Especially when you have a large group of mostly women in the group. To the black women who was at the 2nd floor elevator in the Springhill Suites side of the hotel waiting on the elevator, thank you for rushing into the elevator without any askance if we needed to go down first. Shame on you!

Stayed here twice in February and ended up with the same room both times. Staff didn’t say to put a one in front of room number when trying to connect to internet which made connecting impossible until I called down.
Dirty towels were left in room the first time and there were ants in kitchen and living room. Same bath bulb burned out both times and shower could’ve been cleaner both times.
Fair number of maskless walking about and staff doesn’t seem to do much about it, although it’s the law in Orange County.
Internet, once connected, was good. Staff was nice and got the titanium 4pm checkout both stays.

Made reservations online reserved double suite. Upon arrival had to add parking $15 daily. Was advised room with sofa bed was not available. Also daily housekeeping would not be available any extras would need to be requested and taken to room. I requested extra towels and garbage bags. The room T635 on Towne side of hotel was on corner from elevator with view of pool. The room was also clean since I check everything having kids floors,beds and bathroom. No noise that bothered us we did request change of comforter due to stain. Breakfast was ok workers serve same everyday included. Would stay again maybe in a bigger suite if whole family came. The full kitchen is always great with kids.

Four of us stayed here for four nights in two rooms with two queen beds in each room. The rooms were just slightly cramped with the oversized table. Maybe theres more space with only one (king) bed. The kitchenette and closet area are slightly cramped in the entry area. Otherwise the room was nice enough, though we wished they had central air instead of the a/c units by the window that blows right over the bed.
The hotel has a nice pool, big breakfast area, arcade, nice gym and large lobby and bar - the inside of the hotel was very nice. It’s actually two hotels sharing the grounds - Townplace and Springhill.
We’d probably stay here again

Really enjoyed our stay! Check in was seamless and quick, no issues at all! We had asked for a suite (T502)facing the lake and they delivered and made my wife very happy! The room was spotless when we arrived and kitchen was stocked with everything expected ( dishes cups pots pans) which was great for lunches and dinners! The only thing was tv in bedroom was not working. Went to front desk next morning and advised. Within the hour new tv was brought in and hooked up!! Pool area was beautiful! The good : lots of sunshine , always towels available and great fire pit to sit in the evenings. Two grills available. Bad :( water was cold a few days🥶) and lounge chairs need replacing( sagging in spots). Housekeeping were the sweetest hardest working people I ever met!! Each and every morning whenever you met them when in the hallway they acknowledged you and with a big smile ! They were great at asking if we needed anything. This hotel is well located with groceries stores, liquor stores, shopping malls and restaurants. We both love to walk and most areas are 20 - 30 minute walks. Keep in mind if renting a car they do charge $25+ / day in parking. Uber ( $5 to $ 10 if you wish to Uber instead of walking)is much cheaper than renting a car and saves the parking costs . Breakfast was good. Basics offered ( Disney waffles, scrambled eggs and sausages fruit cereal) we had bacon only once during our stay. Changing that up would be nice. The area is kept very clean and the staff in the morning work hard at keeping the area clean and moving! Overall we loved the hotel due to location and it was a great stay for us and were treated just great! Thanks and see you next year!!

Beautiful hotel and lovely amenities but as I write this at 10:39pm my room is vibrating from the percussion band that went from a ballroom quinceanera celebration to the pool and courtyard. There are people screaming, yelling, running around with glow sticks. The band is playing in the pool area and there are entertainers walking around on stilts. Front desk would not pick up the phone; my husband had to go downstairs to inquire as to when this would be over. Staff was well aware of the disturbance (several other guests were downstairs and on thr way down to complain) but did not do ANYTHING to corral the party back into the banquet rooms.
What was supposed to be a relaxing weekend away with family has turned into a figurative and literal headache.
Will never stay here again. Will encourage others to find another place to stay.

I had a very horrible experience. Booked room way in advance, only to arrive and told room is not available. 3 adults and 3 children excited for a spring break vacation. Spent countless hours back and forth with management getting nowhere. Only offered to squeeze us in a smaller room that would not meet our needs. We were not the only guests having issues, as we waited in the lobby, I noticed many did not get the room they booked, or there was a serious delay in checking in. Manager said there was an issue with housekeeping. Also rude manager questioned as to how we were able to get room at such a great rate, that's what happens when you book in ADVANCE!!! Very nice hotel, but horrible service as far as management is concerned.
