November 20, 2022 - December 18, 2022 - England’s Harry Kane was the Golden Boot winner in the 2018 World Cup and will be hoping to repeat the feat for the Three Lions at Qatar 2022, but will face stiff competition from the world’s greatest strikers.

Once the tournament starts, the graphic will show the race for the Golden Boot, updated automatically.

High-flyers in past years include Miroslav Klose of Germany who scored an incredible 16 goals across four tournaments, from 2002-14, Ronaldo of Brazil, with 15 goals in three World Cups (1998, 2002, 2006), Gerd Muller of Germany with 14 (1970, 1974), and Just Fontaine of France who netted a remarkable 13 times in 1958 alone.

Following these comes legendary Brazilian star Pele, who notched up 12 goals in four tournaments between 1958 and 1970.
