Where to leave my suitcase - heading to mitsui outlet park

Question

I'll like to get some advice on the best route to park my suitcase.

I'll be checking out of my hotel in Ebisucho.  By the end of the day, I need to be in tokyo, but I was hoping to do a bit of outlet shopping before I board the train to tokyo.

I was thinking the lalaport outlet mall in  kadoma.

This is what I have in mind.

1. Check out hotel and head to Osaka station.  Find coin locker and park suitcase for the day.

2. Take train from Osaka to outlet. (around 40 mins)

3. On the way back, I pick up luggage from Osaka and then take train to Shin Osaka.  Then change for train to tokyo.

Would this work?

What time is rush hour to tokyo?  I was thinking to be at shin osaka around 4pm.

for train itineraries from the mall to Shin-Osaka that don't pass through Osaka Station.

Welll Mitsui has one at Toyosu, which is 10 minutes or so from Yurakucho, Ginza area.

Kadoma has 250 stores while Toyosu 180. Maybe there is a special brands you're after but if not, Toyosu could be more convenient.

Thats a shopping centre right? Not an outlet?

I don't want to be dragging my luggage to the mall and then back to osaka. I would have to backtrack to osaka direction as there does not appear to be a route going from the outlet to tokyo. Unless I missed something

How about luggage delivery. Could i organise for my luggage to be transported to tokyo hotel directly? Would the hotel accept my suitcase before my arrival and can it arrive on the same day?

Check some items on the Internet flyers. The prices might not be different. It won't arrive on the same day so you need to make overnight pack if you use luggage delivery.

ok thanks. Whats the point of outlets if they are the same price as the non outlet stores😅, may not be worth the trip then.

With so much manufacturing outsourced to China and Southeast Asia, the concept of a factory outlet no longer fits the situation for many American and Japanese brands. Stores in outlet malls may offer discounts over what you could find online or at regular stores, but the merchandise may be from the past season, overstock, or lower quality merchandise made specifically to sell at outlet stores. So reseach prices before you go to the outlets.
