FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT

 Dear KLSD Families,

Welcome to the Katonah-Lewisboro School District. In our schools, we are dedicated to all our students as individuals, to knowing them well, to understanding their interests, strengths, and needs, all so that we can provide the necessary supports and opportunities to help them learn and grow towards being their best selves.

Our KLSD Learning Commitment speaks about creating relevant, engaging, and active learning environments. We believe that students should understand both the importance of what they’re learning and the connections between academics, their own lives, and the challenges and opportunities in the world around them. When students see relevance in their learning, it becomes most engaging and meaningful for them.
