Ruben A Vargas

ELKHART-Ruben A. Vargas, 26, passed away May 1, 2021 at his home in Elkhart.  He was born January 28, 1995 in Munster, IN to Ruben Vargas and Cathy (Fielder) Vargas.

  Surviving is his father, Ruben (Maria Barajas) Vargas, mother, Cathy (Hud) Dupelle, 1 son, Alexander Vargas, 2 sisters, Ruby Vargas, Jacqueline Vargas, 2 stepsiblings, Cole Dupelle, Piper Dupelle, and numerous other family members.

  He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Ruby Fielder.

  Ruben was a jack of all trades and had a talent for many things.  He was a man of God that truly loved life and lived it to the fullest.  Ruben enjoyed traveling, laughing, dancing, spending time with family and friends.  He had a smile that would light up the room and was a sincere joy to be around. 

  Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the 10 a.m. CST Mass on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at St. Peter & Paul Church, 5885 Harrison St. Merrillville, IN 46410.

  Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
