Associate Attorney Candace Cliatt Little

Nathaniel M. Smith is a born again Christian^* who regularly attends Henry Baptist Church in McDonough, Georgia, with his family. This means that while counseling clients, Nathaniel might refer not only to law but also to other considerations such as moral, emotional, and spiritual factors that might be relevant to a client's situation.^**

This also means Nathaniel feels a duty to serve all who need legal services he is able to provide, regardless of economic considerations.  He may reduce fees, or he may permit the payment of fees in installments according to the ability of clients to pay, or both.

It is office policy to offer discounts on legal services provided to members of Henry Baptist Church.  At least ten percent (10%) of the fees paid to Nathaniel will be put to work at Henry Baptist Church, spreading the Gospel and helping those in need as Jesus commanded.  Anyone who finds this use of funds unpalatable may be more satisfied, at least in the short term, by seeking legal counsel elsewhere.

Nathaniel graduated in 2006 from Clayton State University, earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in history, and he graduated in 2009 from Washington and Lee University, earning a Juris Doctor degree.   

Nathaniel is admitted to practice before the Georgia Supreme Court, the Georgia Court of Appeals, and the Superior, State, Juvenile, Probate and Magistrate courts of Georgia. 

Nathaniel became a member of the Georgia Bar Association in 2009.  He became a member of the Henry County Bar Association in 2010.  He became a member of CLS (Christian Legal Society, www.clsnet.org) and Christianlawyers.com in 2009.

Candace Cliatt Little practices in the area of civil litigation.  She has successfully represented plaintiffs and defendants in family law and personal injury matters. 

Candace received her law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where she served as an editor for the Journal of Intellectual Property Law.  During law school, Candace received several notable internships and assisted one of her professors with researching for and drafting an amicus brief for a recent Supreme Court case.

Candace received her undergraduate degree in English, magna cum laude, from Georgia State University.  She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and enjoys serving as a youth leader at Victory World Church during her spare time. 

Senior Paralegal Lakin Boyd

Paralegal Amanda Scardasis

Lakin Boyd was born in Tennessee, raised in Florida, and will always call Tennessee home.  

Lakin earned her A.A. at Florida State College, her B.A. in Exceptional Student Education at the University of West Florida with a minor in English, and completed a Paralegal Studies Undergraduate Certificate Program at Liberty University.

In addition to being a part of our team, Lakin is a full time military wife and a mother of two boys.  Her loves, in addition to her family, include Jesus, coffee, and reading.

Amanda Scardasis was born in Wurzburg, Germany.  She was raised in McDonough, Georgia, where she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, and where she attends St. James the Apostle Catholic Church. 

Amanda earned her A.A. in Business at Gordon State College and her Paralegal Studies Diploma from Bainbridge State College.
