The Spectre is probably the most balanced weapon in Valorant. It excels in medium-range combat but can also deal deadly damage up close or at long ranges. It also has a huge magazine size with a fast fire rate.

It also features an ADS alt fire that allows you to zoom in for easier long-range battling. The Spectre is also silenced, which means that its tracers are not visible, making it a solid smoke-spamming weapon.

However, the Spectre’s biggest strength is also its weakness. It’s good at almost everything but isn’t excellent at anything. The Stinger has a faster fire rate, and the rifles are better at range and deal more damage.

The Basic Stats

The Spectre has a headshot multiplier of x3, a leg shot multiplier of x0.85, a 15m+ damage falloff multiplier of x0.846, and a 30m+ damage falloff multiplier of x0.769.

It also has a fire rate of 13.33 rounds/sec, reload speed of 2.25s and a magazine size of 30 with 90 reserves.

The alt fire has a fire rate of 12 rounds/sec. It also gives you an ADS with a slight movement speed decrease and a slight spread and recoil reduction.

Best Ways to Use the Spectre

The Spectre works best when used in medium-range fights. This includes distances of anywhere around 10 to 20 meters. Within this range, the recoil and spray are still easy to control, allowing you to freely unload on opponents.

For close-range fights, it’s best to go with a run-and-gun method. The Spectre has a solid fire rate and a large magazine, allowing you to easily pull this off. Running and gunning make you a harder target to hit, giving you the edge against rifles.

Finally, in long-distance fights, your best option is to use ADS and fire in slow and controlled bursts. The Spectre isn’t the ideal weapon to use at long range, but it’s at least usable.
