Student Led CAS, a KGV initiative empowering students to propose, plan, and lead their own CAS activities. This program allows students to take full ownership - organizing materials, designing engaging activities, and supervising/teaching their peers. The results have been outstanding, with student leaders showcasing exceptional leadership skills that further enrich the KGV CAS experience. By embracing this student-driven approach, we cultivate a culture of empowerment, personal growth, and impactful community involvement. Student leaders have demonstrated remarkable initiative, creativity, and dedication in shaping KGV's CAS offerings.
As we begin to plan for the next academic year, we are now accepting proposals for the new academic year.
To improve the management of this, we have introduced strict deadlines for each term:
Whilst the deadline for Term 1 is not until August, I would really appreciate knowing now whether you want to propose a SL CAS activity for next year. This will help ensure staff are locked in to supervise and facilities can be confirmed.
Please complete this Google form with the details of your SL CAS Activity: Student Led CAS Leader Activity Proposal Form 24/25
Best regards
Mr Beard

Hi All
In addition to the Counsellors and Social workers, we will now have Wellbeing Prefects and Ambassadors also stationed at the wetalk hub.
The prefects and Ambassadors will be available every day during lunch breaks. Feel free to walk to have a 1-1 chat with them about academic pressures, social challenges, mental health concerns, or any other issues in a supportive and confidential environment.
They have received training to provide peer-to-peer support and guidance and would respect confidentiality terms within the counselling team.
We hope the initiative can provide a more accessible avenue to learn from your peers who may have navigated similar experiences.
If you are withdrawing your child at the end of this academic year, please submit the student withdrawal notice via the ESF App by 1 June 2024. Otherwise, we will assume that your child is returning after summer and parents are liable for the tuition fees for September 2024 even if the student does not return to school.
Should you have any queries regarding the official student withdrawal procedures, please do not hesitate to email the KGV School Admissions Team at admissions@kgv.edu.hk.
We would like to thank you for your cooperation on this matter, and we wish your child every success in 2024/25.
Two emails (Cambridge and Edexcel) regarding results websites and login information have just been sent to students.
Cambridge: On results day, follow the instructions in the email to check your results. Please keep your username and password safe. You may wish to print out a copy of the email for safekeeping.
Edexcel: Follow the instructions on the email to activate your ResultsPlus account as soon as possible. If you do not activate your account, you would not be able to check your results. During the activation process, you will be asked to input your email address. Please use an email account you have access to. If you are leaving KGV, you might wish to use your personal email address.
If you have registered for AQA subjects, please note that results will be emailed to you on results day.
Please contact Exams Office (exam@kgv.edu.hk) if you have any questions. Thank you!
Dear Year 12 students,
Please find here the schedule for the term 3 summative assessments: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1TEnwk2_pqpVGU4A0IAI-w8YuOlLy0tZ6/edit?usp=sharing&ouid=109859845404906024290&rtpof=true&sd=true
Please note that there will be no timetabled lessons taking place during this week. The assessments are slightly longer than previous term 1 and 2 assessments as they will be more synoptic in nature and, hence, cover more of the syllabus.
Your subject teachers should be providing you with details about content that the assessments will cover i.e. syllabus statements to revise. Some subjects have chosen not to have an assessment during this week as they will use IAs as the term 3 assessment.
The assessments are designed to give you a realistic examination experience and so will be administered by invigilators. As with all summative assessments, your results will be used to contribute to your overall attainment grade.
