When the TV adaptation of the franchise was first announced, fans were thrilled by the news. However, a surprising change in the format has left some scratching their heads.
The new series will be animated, as revealed by Variety. Michael Burns, vice chairman of Lionsgate, shared the news during a Q&A at the Morgan Stanley media conference on Tuesday.
“We’re going to go out with the Twilight series, an animated series, I think there’ll be a lot of interest in that," he said.
I guess we'll see. I know I'll be watching.
