I love this place, the architecture and building around. The multiple streets full of shops (wedding staff, jewelry and clothes, even fruit and legumes.

This park should have been nice in former times, but nowadays it is rotten and in bad condition. Nevertheless it is one of the green oasis in the town of Blida.

Took the cable car to the top of the monument, it was really quick and easy to use.
only issue is it does get a little cramped as they pile the people in.
Form the top you get some good views of the city.

In this place you can see and interact with The Barbary macaque (Macaca sylvanus), also known as Barbary ape or magot, which is a species of macaque unique for its distribution outside Asia. Found in the Atlas Mountains of Algeria and Morocco along with a small population of uncertain origin in Gibraltar, the Barbary macaque is one of the best-known Old World monkey species.
It’s highly recommended to not feed them, because it’s novice for their diet, especially food with sugar.
You can also across some rest areas where you can barbecue in family or with friends.

This Church is located on the main Amara Youcef Avenue, was an ancient Christian place of worship, that have a school annexed to it.
Today, the church is used mostly as a dorm for international students coming from africain countries studying especially in Blida and Algiers Universities.
The ancient christian school was nationalized, and is today an elementary school.
From outside, you see the cross painted in white, and under the arch some mosaics representing christian religious faith.
I’m not sure, if the establishment allow visits inside of it, but at least you will can see from the outside this church which is a proof of presence of different communities in Blida in the past.

On the Route Nationale no 01, you have an amazing views on waterfalls and Chiffa river. When you across the states line between Blida and Medea, the nature became more spectacular, you have a lot of small access to (Challalat or Anser) to swim and got fresh especially in summertime, in families or with friends, you can spend a good time enjoying the environment and how rich is the place.
    Highly recommended in summer.

I like it too much. It's a very ancient, Moorish and beautiful tiny mosque. It's near a market in the middle of the city, surrounded by narrow streets. No parking in the neighbourhood.

    Good for shopping with kids

The is a pretty new and spacious “mall’’ located in ancient emplacement of Souk Elfellah, totally renovated after a big fire in 2016 and reopened for public, this big store with different departments propose a various kinds of products, has also restaurants, play & rest area for kids.
The neighborhood is safe and a lot of families come with their kids to do shopping and have a fun time, a large parking is available too.
In Ramadan the mall is also open by night and usually closes at midnight.
Le Grand Top Shop is famous by it multiple promotions and sale events.
You can reach the place also by transportation, using the bus going to 13 Mai station from downtown.
