He is survived by : his wife Rhonda Maddux of Huntington; his step-children, Mattelynn Hardesty of Lufkin, Shannon Fielder of Dickinson and Robert "Thomas" Hardesty of Huntington; his brother Floyd Daniel; his sister-in-law Aline Maddux of Lufkin; his parents-in-law, Ron Pope of Lufkin, Linda of Lufkin and Jim Heberling of Lufkin; his brother-in-law Robert Pope (Karen) of Huntington; and his nieces and nephews, James "Bullet" Tidwell (KaCe), Ashley Tidwell, Kenny Maddux, Chris Maddux (Brenda), Jaclyn Maddux and Taylor Pope. He is also survived by numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and friends.
