Where do holstaurs come from?

Discussion

So I know where minotaurs come from (Greek mythology), but I don't really know where the term 'holstaur' comes from. It seems to solely refers to a female-only (except in very rare cases) race of monster girl that is MUCH more human than cow, as opposed to the half-human half-cow minotaurs... but I can't seem to find a definitive origin to them. They're in Monster Girl Encyclopedia, Princess & Conquest, and a Chinese game called Cloud Meadow... Did it originate in MGE? Or did it come from somewhere else?

It is most likely a combination of 'Holstein', the most common species of milk cow and 'Minotaur'

They are more on the dairy cow side rather than Minotaurs I think

Yeah, I was more wondering where the term originated

I always thought holstaurs were the domestic Version of a Minotaur
