Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi admits the red card of Roberto Gagliardini was decisive in defeat to Napoli.

Giovanni di Lorenzo lit up the 3-1 win for Napoli with a wonder goal on the Sunday.

Inzaghi said, "You saw the game, in the first half we let Napoli dribble but we were in control, we hadn't risked anything. The expulsion conditioned the match, we had drawn with (Romelu) Lukaku.

"There is disappointment for the defeat. We knew that in the second half we would have found more space, we would have made a more determined offensive phase. After the draw we had to be better, but we must congratulate Di Lorenzo because he scored a Euro goal.

"Today was a costly game, ten of us had to run a lot. There is some regret for a defeat that we would have liked to avoid.

"Lukaku played well and is in excellent physical condition, we'll make assessments for the next matches. In the cups we were extraordinary. It's great to hit the finals, but it's even more beautiful to win them."
