Prinsenhof (Princes’ Court)
Sights and buildings Indoor Outdoor

The Princes' Court was one of the favourite residences of the Burgundian dukes. In the 15th century, they expanded it into a large estate with, in addition to living quarters and guest rooms, a library, a donjon, pleasure gardens with a zoo and a huge bathhouse. Their ostentation and self-indulgence knew no bounds, and the Princes' Court also became an important political, economic and cultural centre of power. Today it is a star hotel where you can spend a night like royalty.
