Rapper and TikToker Rylo Huncho tragically lost his life while filming an Instagram video. The 17-year-old was brandishing a gun in a social media video when the firearm accidentally went off and the teenager was fatally shot in the head. According to Times Now, Huncho's close associate Twin Porter confirmed his passing via a Facebook post on Thursday, May 16.

Huncho's cousin Monica Savage set up a GoFundMe to help her aunt deal with the tragic loss of her son. The GoFundMe, which featured a picture of the rapper, detailed that Huncho was an only child.


The fundraiser has currently amassed $2,258 from 77 donations.


Rylo Huncho passed away due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound

A video circulating on the internet showcased a teen rapper and TikToker from Suffolk, Virginia, who went by the name Rylo Huncho, filming a video and ad-libbing while holding a firearm. Right after Huncho said "F**k ya'll n***a", he pointed the gun at his head and it apparently accidentally went off.

The video was posted on the rapper's Instagram stories and later went viral across different social media platforms. Twin Porter, who, according to Times Now, is believed to be a close associate of Rylo Huncho, revealed on Facebook that the rapper passed away.

On May 16, Porter initially posted on Facebook, calling the whole situation "heartbreaking" and even told people to pray for Huncho, who was allegedly still breathing. Later he requested people to report and flag the video of Huncho's death. Porter detailed:

"And to get a text saying he passed away is heartbreaking and to hear the mean things y’all are saying about Railey is so wrong on every level please god give his mother the strength to deal with the devastating pain she’s in."

He later doubled down on the people trolling during such a tragic time. Porter said on Facebook:

"Mfs don’t know I get down in real life ion care if you a child old or any of that I’m just asking nicely please stop sending me the video trying to be mf funny."

He added:

"I’m not the one to be playing with s**t sad yo and to think mfs really cared or had a heart f**k off my line and Fb y’all some f**king creeps and to share my post and post the video in y’all sick a*s comments even worst like please stop,"

Even though, the name Rylo Huncho wasn't mentioned, a GoFundMe was started by a woman named Monica Savage requesting support for her grieving aunt after suffering a huge loss. The picture featured on the GoFundMe page was of Huncho, taken from his earliest Instagram post.

Famous social media commentator Ian Miles Cheong also posted a screenshot of the GoFundMe on X and stated that it was from the family of Rylo Huncho who passed away while filming a video.

In the GoFundMe, Monica Savage detailed that Huncho was only a 17-year-old only child. The GoFundMe further confirmed that Huncho passed away due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.

The GoFundMe revealed that her aunt, Huncho's mother, was a single parent. The fundraiser further stated:

"S*icide/accidental was the cause of his death we are still trying to figure out why . (sic) But anything I mean anything can help her at this time of need . (sic) He was her only child she was also an only child it was always her and her son . (sic)"

Monica Savage requested people to keep her family in their prayers. At the time of writing this article, the fundraiser amassed $2,258 of a goal of $15,000 from 77 donations.
