Ipswich Town fans paid tribute to a club legend during their home game on February 18, appluading in the 78th, 81st and 90th minute.

Sir Bobby Robson would have been 90 years old on the same day as Ipswich played Forest Green Rovers in their League One match.

As a result, there were celebrations throughout the day for the former England, Newcastle and Ipswich manager.

The club's CEO, Mark Ashton, and chairman Mike O'Leary laid flowers in front of his statue outside Portman Road, while his favourite song, My Way by Frank Sinatra, was played before and after the match.

There was also a video from the club played on the big screen at half-time featuring club legends that knew Sir Bobby, talking of their experiences with him.

Minutes applauses happened during the 78th and 81st minute, to correspond with the years he won the FA Cup and UEFA Cup with the club, and another in the 90th to mark his birthday.

More than 24,000 fans observed these minutes, including the away fans.
