Discussion
There were so many things that just pissed me off about this movie that I think were maybe unrealistic to a degree. Like when the boyfriend had a gun to that girl's head and kept saying he was going to kill her and he kept taking his time until the other stranger knocked him out. Why didn't he just kill her?
If someone has been trying to kill you for the past several hours and you have a chance to kill them. You don't have a conversation with them You just pull the trigger.
Also when they got into the Jeep after he shot the old man, The truck rammed into him and then pulled back but for a good five plus seconds he had time to drive away but he just stood there looking at the guy and got rammed again.
When they were under the house the girl kept whimpering and making noises after she stuck her hand in the nail. In a situation like this you should know to keep absolutely quiet. It's not like this person was shot or had a broken arm but a nail through the hand is not as painful as people think it is.
Her survival skills really sucked.
What they should have done was when they went to the shed and he got the gun that was and he got the gun that was upstairs. One thing they could have done was both of them just stay upstairs where there is one way in and one way out and this way if the strangers try to go up he could take an easy shot at them. Then when daylight came around it would be easy for them to survive.
The old man who came to take a look at the refrigerator was an idiot for not announcing himself and trying to open up the door. Then this guy comes out with the gun and without even taking a split second to look to see who it is he just pulled the trigger. He literally knew his girlfriend made a call to have someone go out there that night to take a look at this.
I myself kept saying to myself why are you doing these stupid things.
What are your thoughts on these and was there something else that you hated about the movie?
I did think it was entertaining but it just pissed me off.
