FORT COLLINS, Colo. – Karizma Bergesen doubled in two runs in the top of the sixth to lift Boise State to a 3-2 victory at Colorado State, Saturday.
The victory was the 10th-straight for the Broncos (33-21, 12-9 Mountain West) against the Rams (26-20, 9-12) in Fort Collins.
"We found different ways to win this weekend," head coach Justin Shults said. "We are going to have to continue that in the MW Championship. We have a great opportunity in front of us.
Colorado State took the lead in the fourth with a pair of runs, one unearned, off reliever Kasey Aguinaga.
With two outs in the fifth, Sophia Knight bunted for a hit, the first of the game for Boise State. Knight stole second and scored on a double by Jordyn Hutchins to pull the Broncos within 2-1.
In the sixth, Sydney Groves walked with one out and Leah McAnally legged out an infield single with two down. Bergesen followed with a double into the right-center field gap to score pinch runners Megan Lake and Skylar Stroh.
Brook Thompson (2-0) earned the victory with 2 1/3 innings of relief and Jenna Bloom, Boise State's fifth pitcher, logged the final-three outs for her first save.

Boise State plays Fresno State at 12:30 p.m. Thursday in the first round of the Mountain West Championship in Boise.
