The Duke and Duchess of Sussex flew to Nigeria after Prince Harry's UK return

Princess Eugenie, Princess Beatrice and Zara Tindall have been slammed for "not supporting Prince Harry" according to fans of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

In the leadup to the Duke of Sussex's recent UK return, it was widely claimed that Eugenie, Beatrice and Zara were set to "snub" Prince Harry's Invictus Games service at St Paul's Cathedral, which took place on May 8.

When Harry, 39, arrived at the cathedral for the 10th anniversary service, he did so without any other members of the British Royal Family.

His wife, Meghan Markle, and two children remained in Montecito, while his father King Charles attended a Buckingham Palace garden party and his brother Prince William oversaw an investiture at Windsor Castle.

Despite this, the Duke of Sussex was joined at the St Paul's Cathedral service of thanksgiving by Princess Diana’s siblings, Charles Spencer and Lady Jane Fellowes.

Many Sussex fans were upset the duke's cousins Zara, 42, Beatrice, 35, and Eugenie, 34, did not attend the service, as they are all reported to have remained close to Harry and Meghan.

One fan wrote on social media: "Diana's family attended the Invictus service as support for Prince Harry, whose family didn't turn up. Not even his favourite cousin Zara. That's family for you."

Another added: "The absence of Zara Tindall and other members of the Royal Family at Prince Harry's Invictus Games Service raised questions."

Similarly, someone said: "I don’t care what anyone thinks. It’s shameful how that family didn’t show up, not just for Harry, but the worldwide veterans who participate in Invictus.

"Don’t tell me Beatrice, Zara, Princess Anne, Edward or other Windsor cousins couldn’t have attended. Just shameful."

A royal watcher commented: "Not all the royals were at the garden party. What about his cousins Eugenie, Beatrice, Zara and Lady Louise? Why didn't they support Harry?"

Another posted: "I think it’s sad and pathetic that other non-working royals who are cousins to Harry couldn’t even come out to support Harry at the Invictus service. Shame on Eugene, Zara, Beatrice and all the others."

One more added: "I was a little surprised that no one came, not even the so-called non-working royals like Beatrice or Eugenie.

"Didn't one of them visit Harry in America and go to the Super Bowl with him a couple of years ago?"

However, many royal watchers came to Zara, Beatrice and Eugenie's defence, arguing they may have had schedule conflicts.

One said: "Princess Eugenie lives in the UK and Portugal yes. I said I was sad that neither of the princesses attended."

Another wrote: "I think Princess Beatrice was in New York for her own charity commitment but still disappointing.

"I think though they are supportive of Harry more than the rest of the family."

A third added: "Maybe they had other things to do. I know Beatrice is in New York at the moment. It’s not all about Harry."

A fan of Princess Beatrice posted: "I guess that Beatrice is a clever woman who supports her King, and is fed up with the behaviour of Harry."
