We found this place just below our apartment! Stopped by twice to experience the real ‘frittura napoletana’ and weren’t disappointed! We tried quite a few various fried dishes, they were all delicious! It’s fresh, it’s tasty, it’s fried and that’s all you need in Napoli.

We stopped by this friggitoria following the reviews, and tried a nice variety of fried goods, all of which were great. The maccaroni with meat and the aranchini were especially excellent in my opinion.

This is heaven for fans of fried foods - everything is fried here. You can have fried mozzarella-sandwiches, calzone pizzas, eggplant slices, polenta, potato-sticks and another dozen of varieties for €0.20-2 a piece. Good value for money, it's fast and it's tasty, just leaves you...a bit full and feeling slightly unhealthy after a meal.More

Reading some of the old previous reviews it seemed I’ve visited a completely different place. No I have not as it’s by images exactly the same place. Visited early evening after a trip up the funicular and looking for a great view over Naples. The...people was incredibly friendly. We asked if we can take phots and we started chatting with the cook on the left of the photo. He was very friendly and even shown us how he cooks the spaghetti. He came to find us outside to see if we were satisfied with our food! Amazing! All the food we had was freshly fried and nothing microwaved. The fried spaghetti was a fabulous delicious surprise. Also enjoyed the fried aubergine & courgette flowers. I do recommend taking wet wipes as yes the food is fried and you’ll have greasy hands. It’s very very cheap! Fabulous place, definitely worth a visit.More

This is an exciting little fried food joint in the middle-class Vomero district of Naples, just 50M from the funicular station. It had rained all morning so the owners spread sawdust on the floor, increasing the authenic nature of its appearance. They had fried pizzas...on display but we opted for a cone of "choose-your-own" fried goodies. 25 cents each for aubergine, spinach, potato, rice balls etc. Everything is precooked, so the food is briefly warmed in a microwave. Considering how tasty similar fried foods were in the Spaccanapoli area, this was a disappointment, although I'm pleased we went there.More

Located not far away from the Vantivelli Metro station, Frigittoria Vomero is simply one of the best fried food in Napoli. Everything is prepared and fried in frint of you. The frittata di maccheroni was simply delicious. You can also ask for a mux of...what you like, rice, mozzarella, potatoes, polenta, aubergines, everything so crispy and delicious, for less than 5 euros. A pity they don't serve fried seafood.More

I stop by here on my way home from the grocery regularly. Everything is delicious and you can watch the staff make and fry everything right in front of you. Be advised this is "to go" --- just walk in, place your order at the...cash register, then pick it up at the counter where they will package it up for you to eat while you walk or when you get home, whichever you prefer. Great for a quick bite and super cheap!More

If you want to taste real street food in Naples, don't miss Friggitoria Vomero. It's colse to Funicolare station in "Fuga" square. My favourite are little potato crochets but I warmly recommand to taste a little of everything. They keep the old traditional way to...cook so don't hesitate to go. EnjoyMore

It was a hidden gem near the Funicolare di Chiaia Station. The lady in the shop was very patient, trying to explain each type of fried food sold in the shop. The potato croquette was very tasty and I wished I had tried everything in the...shop ! Bought 3 different types which only costed 0.60 euro. Cheap and tasty ! Will go back for more next time.More

This terrific place is located very near the funicular stop and is so cheap! We shared a pizza fritta, fried aubergine and ricotta flowers and some kind of fried pasta ball. It was ridiculously cheap and very tasty. Thankfully they also serve drinks to help...cut through the fried food!More
