How to Use Beastmen's Cleaver

Scales with Strength

This weapon only scales with Strength by default and is a good weapon for players exclusively building around this attribute. Additional scalings can be added in by using whetblades to allow this weapon to scale with your other stats.

Since this is a Strength-based weapon, the talisman Starscourge Heirloom can further increase the damage dealt by your physical attacks by raising your Strength attribute.

High Damaging Weapon

This weapon deals high damage with its wide slashing attacks and is capable of easily breaking an enemy's poise with its charged strong attacks.

Status effects such as Hemorrhage, Poison, and Frost can be added to the weapon to increase its damage output but keep in mind that using this weapon to apply debuffs to weaker enemies are less effective due to its hard hitting attacks.

Infusable with Ashes of War

This weapon can be infused with Ashes of War and is equipped with Spinning Slash as its default weapon skill. It enables the user to perform a 360-degree spinning slash capable of hitting surrounding enemies. This skill can be followed up with another input to perform another spinning attack.

Since this weapon is heavy and has slow attack animations, the Bloodhound Step Ash of War works well with the Beastmen's Cleaver and can give mobility to compensate for these.
