HONORABLE MENTION: Shanola Hampton
We knew that Gabi Mosely’s dark secret would eventually come to light, but we weren’t prepared for how devastating the reveal would be, and that’s a testament to portrayer Shanola Hampton’s powerful performance in Found’s Season 1 finale. Through muted dialogue, Gabi came clean to her M&A cohorts about holding her kidnapper Sir (Mark-Paul Gosselaar) captive for nearly a year. We didn’t need to hear what was said to fully grasp the emotional turmoil of that moment because her pained expression as the team walked away, and the heartbreaking manner in which she sank to the floor under the weight of that immediate loss, said it all. To see Gabi shrink so small — a far cry from the confident attorney who strutted into every room like she belonged and wore perfectly tailored fits like superhero garbs — was visceral and gut-wrenching. —Keisha Hatchett
A man is worthy.
There were no crossover with other seasons. Or did i mess any easter eggs?
Just some fun connections.
Easter Egg: Jason Schwartzman (Josto Fadda in season 4) was the narrator in the fifth episode (The Tiger).
Easter Egg: The kidnapping of Dot that set off the whole season was an homage to the kidnapping scene of Jean Lundegaard from the movie. Scotty shares a name with the son in the film as well.
I hope that Found gets a renewal. The premise of the show is one that could be built on hackneyed tropes but that is not the case. The cast, Led by Shanola Hampton, is outstanding and I have enjoyed every single episode. Like most families, Gabi’s crew will have to deal with the disappointment of her disclosures, but will rise to the occasion. I’m also excited to see what season 2 will bring now that ‘Sir’ is on the loose. The possibilities are endless.
It was renewed!!
Already renewed along with the irrational back in late nov
loved Sam Spruell in Fargo wonderful actor maybe we will see more of him.
Sam Spruell was the most memorable character that I’ve seen in a long time. His performance was spot on and unforgettable. Fargo outdid itself with him in it.
The last scene in Fargo had me on the edge of my seat and at the end tears in my eyes I’m going to do kiss this shows family love it
Glad to see Sam Spruell at the top of the list!
After 500 years, Sam Spruell finally got his well-deserved reward and a cookie!
No, a drop biscuit. I know the Brits call what we call cookies “biscuits,” but this was a Bisquik concoction, not what Americans call a “cookie.”
Sam’s performance was outstanding. The show was the best. The entire cast did a great job, I even got to hate Jon Hamm.
Sam spruell is a favorite of m
now based on his performance in Fargo alone. Going from there, consider the entire cast bc they were ALL phenomenal. From Juno Temple to Jennifer Jason Leigh to Jon Hamm, and everyone in between…every one of the superb. Didn’t hurt that they had a brilliant script.
Spruell in Fargo…
for sure, you know
(best Minnesota accent)
Yah, real good!
You guys didn’t really get it, did you? Ole was a 16th century Welsh sin-eater … they eat a biscuit laying on top of the dead man’s stomach to absorb all his sins. Dot’s buscuit purged those sins.
