I have a great time while being enrolled here at GRCC! From the professors to the advisors and even the success coaches, there are so many support systems and great communication from any and all platforms. I am a type one diabetic and the have done so much to help me still be successful while being in college. The professors are all super nice and are great teachers. I haven’t ever felt unsafe on the campus and when I am at home working on an online class, I still have all the resources I need from GRCC to stay on track and understand the curriculum. There is nothing more I could personally ask for to better the experience being enrolled here. The transfer programs make my next steps so visible and there’s little to no questions on my path since they have done such an amazing job at showing what all is needed and has been completed on my journey throughout college.
I really like GRCC because it is close to home if I had to go in person for anything like the bookstore to pick up books, take a placement test, talk in person with an advisor. I really like that a lot of their classes are being offered online for those busy people out there who can’t make the in person classes. That is me, I personally don’t have a lot of extra time to drive to the campus for class and back home again. So the online classes are a great option for me. It is also nice that the online center is very easy to navigate and understand. I would definitely recommend GR CC. to family and friends to get their prerequisites done and possibly the associates before transferring to a bigger school.
My experience with Grand Rapids Community College was great! I am currently in my senior year of high school, and this is my third year of taking online dual-enrollment classes through GRCC. GRCC offered far more classes than my high school does. I enjoyed this aspect because it allowed me to pursue other classes and possible career choices. Along with that, all of my professors were, and are, fantastic to learn from. I have thoroughly enjoyed each class I have enrolled in and I am very grateful Grand Rapids Community College has offered me this enjoyable experience.
