PEARSON, Eric Edward Eric Edward Pearson, age 53, residing in Sandy Springs, GA, went to be with our Lord and Savior on the morning of December 26, 2018. Born November 2, 1965, in Winter Park, Florida to Carl Pearson (deceased) and Sonia Brauer Pearson. In 1983 he graduated from Astronaut High School in Titusville, Florida, and in December 1989, he graduated from the University of Central Florida. Eric worked for InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) for over 20 years and was most recently their Chief Commercial and Technology Officer. Past employers included NASA, IBM, Disney Vacation Club and he was on the board of the Junior Achievement (JA) of Georgia. Eric was one of a kind, giving, loyal, thoughtful and loving to all who met him. The unconditional love for his family was the bedrock of Eric's existence on Earth. Eric went above and beyond with everything he did, and his passion for life touched everyone around him. Eric always found a way to show people a great time, and his generosity knew no bounds. His interests included: traveling, hanging at the lake, boating, wake surfing, fishing, golfing, attending Atlanta Falcon football games, and entrepreneurial adventures. Survived by his loving wife, Kelly Pearson and his sons Spencer (16) and Jacob (13), his mother Sonia Brauer Pearson, brothers; Karl Pearson (wife Lisa) and Fred Pearson (wife Betsy), sister Sonia Pearson and nine nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to; Junior Achievement of Georgia for a scholarship in Eric's name, send donations to 275 Northside Drive NW, Building C, Atlanta, GA 30314. Family, friends and others whose lives Eric touched are invited to: -A visitation at Sandy Springs Chapel, 136 Mount Vernon HWY, Sandy Springs, GA 30328, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. -Funeral service at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 4465 Northside Dr. Atlanta GA 30327, Thursday January 3, 2019 at 1:00pm Followed by a burial for close friends and family only please at Arlington Memorial Park in Sandy Springs.

Eric was my best friend, from knock kneed skinny kid to an amazing business man, father and husband. He was the best of us. He will be missed. My heart is breaking for Kelly, Spencer and Jacob.
