After visiting a few Barça games in Camp Nou it was time to head to an away game and Girona playing their first season ever in La Liga, was just a perfect place to go to. The atmosphere in this lovely small stadium was great. Beer was sold outside the stadium before the game but not inside the stadium because of the La Liga regulations.

Here it plays the football team of the city of Girona, they are now in the second division and plays good matches with teams you maybe know. If you like football you must go to see the atmosphere that is created by fans and football lovers, shouting loudly the goals!

If you are a football fan ang visiting Girona, you should go to watch a Secunda Liga homegame of Girona FC. The team are now in top of Secunda and it is quite near that they are next year Primera team. Estadi Montilivi is in the very beautiful place and the athmospere in home games is wonderful. The capasity of stadion is only 9500, but the spectators are very enthusiastic. Prices to home games are cheap. You should go to match early, because parking is problem althougt the capasity of the stadion is not so big.

We make every effort to visit la ligament stadiums on our travels in Spain. This took a leisurely 35 min walk from the centre. I think bus 11 also goes this way. Don’t expect a stadium tour you can see through the seating. The fan shop is a portokabin , still we managed to get a shirt. Tickets can be bought here , various prices according to the opponents and where you sit.

Hi, I am looking to buy tickets for Real Madrid vs Girona and to sit in the away end at the Bernabéu with the Girona fans. How do I go about finding tickets for the away end? Does anyone know whether I can buy away tickets at the Bernabéu? Thanks

Hola Esther,
SÃ, a partir de un año todos los niños deben pagar entrada.

Muchas gracias.
