This is another in a long line of Americans in a foreign country being tortured film. This one doesn't necessarily do anything different, other than the tattoo aspect. I mostly checked this one out for Robert LaSardo, he plays menacing so well, but he's also a blast to watch. The plot is embarrassingly simple, LaSardo plays a tattoo artist, with a very devious side business, selling his customers skin to high paying customers. So obviously the American tourist end up in his shop, and one of them just may be a traitor. The acting is decent enough it's definitely not as bad as I thought it would be, and if you're a fan of nudity, well there's your reason for checking this out from the get go. The gore is plentiful, if a little one dimensional. Since he's selling the skin he obviously has to remove it, so there's plenty of slicing and dicing, but it never advances past that. There is also a girl fight that involves a clit piercing being torn off, which is pretty cringe inducing. There ends up being a subplot with Amy who's been kept prisoner the entire movie, that really doesn't make a lot of sense, and would've probably benefited by being cut altogether. For a quick release, and what I'm sure was a minuscule budget, it's overall not a bad film. It can drag in a few places and it's overly simple in its reasoning, but you may find something you like here in the end.....(☠️☠️☠️☠️/10)
