The Microsoft Casual Games team recently announced that they will close the service for Microsoft Bingo on all devices in April 2021. After this date, you’ll no longer be able to play the game or access any in-game items, such as tickets or coins.

After careful consideration, Microsoft Casual Games Studio has determined that Microsoft Bingo has come to the end of its lifecycle within their catalog of games, and that they’re no longer able to dedicate the necessary resources to continue providing this popular game experience. What will happen to any tickets or coins that I have in-game?

Until the game closes in April 2021, all tickets and coins can continue to be used in-game. The Microsoft Bingo shop closed on October 5, 2020, for any additional purchases, and after April 2021, all in-game items will no longer be accessible.

Will I be able to launch Microsoft Bingo after it has closed in April 2021?

No. Launching the game and attempting to connect to the game’s online services will result in an error message being displayed.

Can I cash out my tickets or coins?

No. All tickets and coins should be spent before April 2021, to avoid losing them. Automatic refunds will be issued to any players who made purchases between April 1, 2020, and October 4, 2020. Once initiated, refunds may take up to 10 business days to fully process. For more info, visit:
