As you remember, these albums first appeared on vinyl in the early to mid 1980's, and it was the stuff dreams were made of. YES, the sound quality was poor, YES, the albums were of questionable source, but it's all the sex pistols fan had beyond the official releases. These CLASSIC live albums document the Sex Pistols at their peak, and the artwork and everything is reproduced perfectly for this set. You were lucky to find or buy ONE of these great titles in this box set back in the day - if you could afford it (they were expensive). If you were there, then you've probably already bought this box set to relive the memories. If you weren't there, experience these incredible period pieces for the first time. Don't expect good sound quality, but the MAGIC of the Sex Pistols shines through. A TREASURE TROVE OF RARE ALBUMS. DO IT!
great to hear these old vinyl records up dated to cds- lost recording now in a box set must have! rare songs and one off recordings and alterative versions and live recording also,if you like the pistols get these updated lost vinyl recordings now on cd in a nice little box set 7 cd total.
7 Cd's of the same songs. Very poor recordings where you can hear guitar but no vocals on all except one of the cd's and that's not very good quality. Do not buy a big waste of money.

This is a wonderfully packaged set and lots of Cd's. However it is very rough, even for a bootleg. Sounds like your standing outside the club in the parking lot! There are a select few songs that are ok though. I wouldn't buy it again.
Sadly, this isn't very good. Of the 7 discs in here - vinyl replicas all - the actual selection of the material is very poor. Between the discs there is just one disc that is a single show presented in a faithful order (Newport 1977), and that is a very poor quality recording. Of the other six discs they are all compilations of well-circulated material, spreading across them in random order - which is almost unlistenable - Winterland 1978 (resquenced), and extracts from Atlanta 1978, Halmsted 1977, Stockholm 1977, and some other shows. Performances are duplicated (numerous tracks from Newport appear twice), the running orders rearranged so there is no sense of a proper gig, and the much-circulated "Spunk" demos are also present, albeit split as two halves of two seperate discs. Overall, the "Indecent Exposure" set is much better value and offers a far more enjoyable experience with better quality recordings, performances, and a much more accurate running order. Do not get this.
