      Critics Consensus

Q-Force's heart is in the right place, but dated stereotypes and a general lack of humor make this animated action adventure fall flat.

Michael Blackmon BuzzFeed News Weighed down by derivative characters and dull gags about queerness, Q-Force is hit or miss. Apr 5, 2022 Full Review Rebecca Nicholson Guardian It is not particularly funny, and that is more of a problem. In its opening episodes, you can see the jokes coming a mile away, and it left me thinking that animation and comedy are all much more sophisticated now. Rated: 2/5 Sep 7, 2021 Full Review Juan Barquin AV Club It's like scrolling through the drafted tweets of Gay Twitter Comedians or sifting through the outtakes for a gay podcast, where every other sentence in a conversation involves a name-drop of a pop star or actress and a catty observation about them. Rated: D Sep 7, 2021 Full Review Michael Cuby them. You will laugh and you will cry (but only from laughing so hard). Sep 26, 2022 Full Review Mey Rude Out Magazine Netflix's Q-Force was met with a lot of online hate when the first preview for the show came out, but those who actually watched it quickly found it was one of the funniest, and best queer shows in years. Rated: A+ Apr 4, 2022 Full Review David Reddish Queerty Much like a drag show, some viewers may find Q-Force a bit too over the top. For us, its an exercise in LGBTQ loveand a very fun adventure to boot. Rated: 3/4 Mar 13, 2022 Full Review Read all reviews

Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 09/26/23 Full Review Eric U I really enjoyed this show. I thought there would be a second season then I read online that it was cancelled. I didn't read all the reviews when the show came out and didn't hear of it but honestly this show is really good and lighthearted. I like following the characters stories and thought it's really well done. I think the critics were too harsh because the show didn't deserve the negative criticisms. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/15/23 Full Review Wybie L This show was amazing. Netflix, Bring. It. Back. Now. -sincerely a GAY TRANS MAN :) Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/12/23 Full Review Ray F I find it odd how many critics think this show was offensive to lgbtq folks when the reviewer are Straight cisgender folks and the the entire cast of this show are lgbtq themselves. Not just the voices but the Creators, writers, almost everyone. So a show for lgbtq people by lgbtq people is squashed by straight people giving bad reviews and canceling it before the 1st season ever finishes. How crazy is that? So much for equality. Thanks netflix. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 09/11/23 Full Review KL C honestly a good show, it's funny and has a decent story, very well voiced and animated Rated 4 out of 5 stars 09/03/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating
