This place never disappoints, quick service, pizza and Beer specials on Tuesday in the bar. Pizza's were amazing as you can see from my post. Get here early since the area fills up quickly. The only downside is it can be a bit noisey.

Our 1st time attending this buffet - 4 of us. it was spectacular. All delicious...lobster bisque, salad bar, beef tenderloin, lobster, risotto, veggies, pork, and on and on. Our waitress Leslie was the best waitress of any restaurant we attended in 2019. She was friendly,...efficient, and was extraordinaire!!! Never felt rushed. It was amazing.More
I don't like Italian food. Never have. But, I love Stancato's. My server was Colleen who was back after time away. She explained the items on the menu and helped me pick one of the most memorable meals I have had in many years. I...saved my receipt so when I return I can get the same meal. I got Scallops Oreganato and a salad that was wonderful. It was the first salad I ate in my life. I don't eat salads. This was so good. I was converted and I don't even know wat it was and the dressing was so tasty. I like it! Friends at the table took pictures to prove I was eating green stuff. Thanks Stancatos and Colleen for one of the best meals in my life. The food and service were life-changing.More
Absolutely. Terrible. My wife's baby shower was held here last week. They were given a two hour time constraint, which is fine in theory. The servers were a mother, and her young teenage daughter, that were also handling another large banquet. As a result of...this, the food was brought out fairly late in the two hours. No one in attendance received refills on their drinks, and the food quality was fairly low on half of the food (I assume this is due to crunch of the very large banquet they were also hosting.) We were charged extra fees for the servers to cut the shower cake (which they did not do, we finally did it ourselves with 11 minutes remaining before the $200 fee for going over time, as they were nowhere to be found.) I had to personally go downstairs, find another server, and ask them for forks for the cake as none were provided. It took this secondary server nearly ten minutes to find our server who was off with her daughter. At the conclusion, they packaged 5 pieces of the massive tray of chicken, a few meatballs and a TON of vegetables each in packages, and (I assume) took the rest of the food home themselves? When I contacted management to speak about my concerns, they were standoffish and kept asking me if I was sure, because no one had ever complained about bad service before. It was odd, but none the less I told them I'd wait to hear from them. Rather than ever contacting me again or reaching out, even though I was the person in contact with them, they chose to contact my 75 year old mother (who when taken into another room by the server, at the event, was prompted to leave a $100 tip?), and informed her they'd be happy to credit her the few dollars for the cake cutting bill off the massive $650 bill in which they kept the remainder of the food. Laughable to say the least, and scamming an elderly person who wished to avoid conflict, in reality. I am giving strong consideration to taking further legal action after circumventing me to avoid any amicable outcome. Avoid at all costs. Do, not, hold, events here. I have happily gone to Stancatos for years, but I will *never* go there again.More
The tiny portions were okay, because what we had was good. But for $65.00 for 2 entrees, plus what we tipped, you would think they could remember to put in the meatball we paid extra for. I tried to call to comment, and Kaylynn answered...after I was on hold for 10 minutes, said "Stancato's we're closed" and hung up on me. There are so many Italian restaurants in our suburb that treat customers so much better. We will never go to Stancato's again.More
I chose Stancatos for my birthday dinner with family. My husband and I ordered pollo Napoli. Both our dishes were inedibly salty. My father ordered a soup like dish with mussels, unsure of the name. He said it was average at best. My mother ordered...the Friday fish fry. She asked the server before deciding, if the fries were frozen. He assured her they were not. They absolutely were frozen fries. My daughter made her own pasta with garlic spinach. The raw garlic was overpowering, We are an Italian family, we aren’t shy about fresh garlic, so that’s saying a lot. It was a highly disappointing $200+ meal that no one wanted to complain about while we were there because it was my birthday. The single positive was the delicious cannoli I was gifted as a birthday dessert.More
My wife and I frequent Stancato's. The food and service is excellent. Since COVID, quality and service at most restaurants has declined while prices have increased. Stancato's is an exception to the trend and, despite the staffing difficulties we see everywhere, management has pulled it...off. Kudos for good service, consistency, quality and value.More
Difficult to assign a star as it's not about the food but instead about what I witnessed. I recently ordered food for takeout. In Ohio, employees of restaurants are required to wear masks. I walked in to pick up the order and just one employee...was wearing his mask properly. All of the other employees, about 8 that I saw had their masks covering only their mouths. Wearing a mask that is not covering your nose makes the covering ineffective and pointless. Germs, including those from COVID can easily be passed through the air through one's nose. And, even worse was that another individual perhaps the owner or manager had no covering on at all. Just so you know, the area where food is picked up is the kitchen area where the food is prepared. After seeing this, I didn't eat my food. To make matters worse the order was not just for me but also my elderly mom. How completely selfish and self-serving on the part of management and the employees and to stand there and allow your employees to wear masks incorrectly, rendering them ineffective. This is ground for reporting the restaurant. Sorry folks, but it's unacceptable.More
Did a family pack take out for Valentine’s Day. We are from east side so this was our first experience. We wanted to bring dinner to son and wife and baby for valentines. Omg the chicken parm was absolutely fantastic, tender and the sides were...spot on. We also bought the chocolate chentilly (sp.?) for desert. Portions were perfect for four people (not six) and to be honest beat anything we have on the east side. Highly recommend.More
My son is getting married November 2022 we were looking for a place for the Rehearsal dinner. We decided to try Stancato’s after trying a few places in Little Italy close to the wedding venue. We were very disappointed with the little Italy restaurants. We...will be driving about 20 minutes from the venue but I think it’s worth it. We ordered the Arancini as an appetizer & it was delicious! We knew we were in the right place immediately! My husband ordered the lasagna, I had the chicken Piccata my favorite & it did not disappoint! Staff was great. The restaurant was spotless. We went upstairs to see the private dining rooms & they are perfect for our needs. We are looking forward to hosting our guests next month for the rehearsal dinner.More
Great place and had gluten free options for my husband. They are also able to customize an order to be gluten free. Heather was great. Knowledgeable and friendly. The portions are huge. If you are in the area, you must stop here.
I used Stancatos for Catering my Thanksgiving dinner for 40 and they food and deliver was phenomenal. All of the items, Turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, California Medley vegetables, cranberry sauce, and dinner rolls were 5 star items. Thank you Stancatos for making my holiday special!!!
Fabulous Italian food and high value. Sat at a wide open bar with several HDTVs. Impeccable service. Wonderful Antipasti Salad included with my specialty pasta entree. linguini with large tasty scalloos, tender shrimp and black mussels was “the bong”. Red clam sauce was terrific. Can’t...wait to come back. Spirits prices are quite reasonable.More
Went for the first time on Saturday. My wife and I have driven by for many years. Boy what we've been missing. I was waiting for Don Corleone to walk out from the back. Food and service was outstanding and not snobby (I have been...to a few Little Italy places that think they are the end all in Italian food) they need to come her to learn some lessons.More
Food was Delicious! From the warm bread and sauce, Mediterranean salad, tutto pesce to the chicken parm! The tiramisu is a MUST have, honestly the best I have tried. The staff is extremely friendly, the owner came over to talk- everyone made us feel like...we were family. The place is spotless, not even a water mark on the silverware. Must do next time we are in Cleveland.More
