Director Statement

Texas Cotton is a film that embraces small town Texas life while telling a genuinely intriguing mystery. I wanted to do for small town Texas what the Coen brothers did for the Dakotas in “Fargo”.
You will see in the main character of Sgt.Travis Delmore a personality that is specific to towns depicted in Texas Cotton. Delmore has tremendous heart, as do many of the people I’ve encountered during the filming of this movie. Every person I’ve met while preparing this script also has a rich life story, an intriguing background, and brings something interesting to the table. My supporting characters are a cross-section of these people.
