Jordan Henderson is an English professional soccer player who last played as a midfielder for Premier League club Liverpool.  

The England national team player is considered one of the most consistent midfielders in the history of the Premier League.

Born in Sunderland, Tyne, and Wear, on 17 June 1990, Henderson joined the Sunderland Academy at the age of eight. He made his first-team debut in November 2008.

Similarly, the player joined Liverpool in 2011 and became one of the team’s key players.

Henderson, as the captain of the team, led Liverpool to Premier League, Champions League, FIFA Club World Cup, and UEFA Super Cup victory.

In addition, he was named England Player of the Year in 2019 and has represented his nation in 3 FIFA World Cups.

Rebecca Burnett was born on February 25, 1991, in North Virginia. Primarily, her parents, Jack, and Rose Burnett, moved from England to the US due to their careers.

Burnett got her education from the College of Charleston, Virginia Polytechnic Institute, and State University.

At the age of 12, she moved to England with her family to the city of Sunderland and grew up there.

Jordan Henderson and Rebecca Burnett’s love story began during their teenage years. Reportedly, they met when Henderson was playing for Sunderland’s youth team.

As they grew older, their bond deepened. After several years of dating, they tied the knot in 2014 in a heartwarming ceremony surrounded by friends and family.

Because the pair keeps a low profile, very little is known about Henderson’s better half.

The mother-of-three remains out of the spotlight. However, she attends her husband’s matches as often as possible.

The English international has three kids with his wife Rebecca Burnett. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Elexa, in 2014, the same year of their marriage.

In 2015, their family grew larger with the arrival of their second daughter, Alba. Jordan and Rebecca were overjoyed to have two beautiful daughters to share their lives with.

In fact, Henderson raced to be at his wife’s side for the birth of his second child. He later drove back to Wembley to play in a cup semi-final in 2015.

Jordan and Rebecca’s little boy, Myles, joined his sisters Elexa and Alba in the Henderson household in 2020.

In light of the midfielder’s interview with The Herald, the Henderson children have taken an early interest in soccer. 

Myles, his 4 year old, is already aiming at the net. Similarly, Elexa has started playing and collecting Match Attax soccer cards.

The Liverpool legend has been at Anfield (Liverpool’s home ground) for 12 seasons. He will now quit Liverpool leaving behind one of the most successful eras in the club’s history.
