Stadtkomödie: Geschenkt plot

When Gerold Plassek's ex-girlfriend unexpectedly has to go abroad, she entrusts her fourteen-year-old son Manuel to him. However, the teenager has no idea that 'Geri' is his father. Geri spends most of his days in his favorite pub and isn't exactly the best father figure. That changes when he and Manuel dedicate themselves to his friend Machmut and his family who are in danger of being deported from the country. Slowly father and son grow closer to each other.
