Have I Got News for You is back for an impressive 67th series, with Ian Hislop and Paul Merton once again joined by a wonderful - and sometimes surprising - array of guest stars on BBC1’s topical news show.

Have I Got News for you season 67 — release date
Have I Got News For You season 67 lands on BBC One on Friday, April 5 2024 at 9pm for a new 10-part series. Episodes are available on BBC iPlayer after transmission.
The slightly longer version Have I Got a Bit More News For You will be airing weekly on Mondays on BBC One at 10.40pm. On Bank Holiday Monday 6 May 2024, HIGABMNFY airs at the slightly earlier time of 10.30pm.
Have I Got News for you season 67 — episodes, presenter and guest panellists
Episode 1 (April 5, 2024)
Clive Myrie is in the presenter’s chair for the first episode of the new series. This is the journalist and Mastermind host’s fifth presenting appearance on Have I Got News For You.
Comedian Jon Richardson has been confirmed for the panel and will be making his 13th appearance on the show. The second panellist is broadcast journalist Marianna Spring.
Episode 2 (April 12, 2024)
HIGNFY has confirmed Professor Hannah Fry will host the second episode of the new series. This is the mathematician's seventh appearance on the show.
Comedians Zoe Lyons and Ed Patrick have been confirmed as this week's panellists.
Episode 3 (April 19, 2024)
Presenter and actor Alexander Armstrong guest hosts Have I Got News For You for a record 41st time.
Jo Brand joins as a panellist and, although both she and Alexander are regulars on HIGNFY this will be the first time they have appeared together on the same episode. This episode's second panellist is comedian Munya Chawawa, who made his debut on the show last season.
Episode 4 (26 April 2024)
This episode will mark broadcaster, financial journalist and Money Saving Expert's Martin Lewis first ever outing as host on Have I Got News For You.
Speaking about his upcoming HIGNFY appearance, Martin says: "I've been a fan of the show since it started, just after I left school. But can't pretend there isn't a tinge of terror mixed in with excitement at the thought of presenting it — especially trying to keep Paul and Ian in line. I may have to resort to threatening to destroy their credit scores."
Joining Ian, Paul and Martin is comedian Ignacio Lopez, who made his first appearance in series 66. The second panellist is broadcaster Steph McGovern.
Episode 5 (03 May 2024)
Actor Martin Clunes puts in his 20th appearance as host on HIGNFY, while Paul and Ian are joined by comedian Chloe Petts and BBC International Correspondent Lyse Doucet, both of whom are making their show debut.
Episode 6 (10 May 2024)
Mel Giedroyc was initially announced as host for this episode of HIGNFY, but it has since been revealed that comedian Bill Bailey will be in the hot seat instead.
This is Bill's tenth appearance on the programme. He is joined by guest panellists, journalist Helen Lewis and comedian Daliso Chaponda.
Episode 7 (17 May 2024)
While the guest host for this episode of HIGNFY took a while to be announced, it's now been revealed that comedian, crooner, presenter and actor Jason Manford will be making his hosting debut. Jason appeared on the show previously as a panellist in 2016.
"I'm really chuffed to be hosting this legendary show that I used to watch as a teenager with my dad. Let’s hope it’s yet another fun week in the news!" says the star.
On the panel are Jess Phillips MP (making her eighth appearance) and comedian Glenn Moorwill (a first timer on the show).
Episode 8 (24 May 2024)
Host of University Challenge and BBC journalist Amol Rajan was originally announced as the guest presenter for episode eight of the 67th series, which would have marked his first appearance on the show. However, it's since been announced that comedian Phil Wang will be taking Amol's place on the show for this episode.
While Phil is a regular on the panel, this is his first time hosting. Joining Phil, Ian and Paul are presenter Richard Osman and Baroness Ruth Davidson.
Episode 9 (31 May 2024)
Victoria Coren Mitchell guest hosts this episode clocking up her 19th time in the presenting chair and 27th overall appearance on the show.
Making her debut on the panel is Sky News presenter Sophy Ridge, alongside comedian Chris McCausland, his 6th appearance on the programme.
Episode 10 (07 June 2024)
Comedian and creator of BAFTA-winning series Taskmaster Alex Horne makes his HIGNFY debut as guest host for the final episode of the current series.
"Although I suspect it's an admin error and they actually want me to pass the request on to my boss, I'm very excited to be hosting an episode of Have I Got News For You," says Alex. "I am rarely in charge, whether at work, at home or by myself, so I'm hoping a hitherto undiscovered domineering side of my personality will be unleashed all over Paul and Ian."
Joining Alex as guests on the panel are broadcaster Carol Vorderman - her 5th appearance on the programme - and comedian Jack Dee - his 21st time on the show.
